The Cayucos Pier is sitting on it’s last piling so the community got together to throw a fundraiser, the Cayucos Pier Benefit Concert. So, did we “Save Cayucos Pier”? Word of the final number has yet to hit the streets of Cayucos, but if the length of the line for the Cayucos Beach Ale was any indicator, we’d have to say they did pretty damn well.
It’s amazing that it took so long for a music event of this magnitude to light up in Cayucos. Great to see the community come together and party on the sand to the tunes of talented musicians from here and afar. The event was so fun, in fact, that we didn’t get much work done…haha! But, we did manage to keep the camera in focus for a few shots during a perfectly sublime and inebriated afternoon.
