Grady Houser Art Sale Nov 15th – 16th
Long-time Cayucan and talented artist Grady Houser is returning to his island paradise after a short visit to the Central Coast. We’re going to help him fund his travels by having a Grady Houser Art Sale this Saturday and Sunday (Nov. 15- 16) at our Gallery in Downtown Cayucos: 123 N. Ocean Ave. Come down and pick up one of his pieces before they’re gone for good!!
For the Art Sale we will be offering 30% off all of Houser’s over 2 dozen art pieces in the Gallery. Grady will be at the Gallery to chat with you about his art, life, and maybe even a little metaphysical spirituality. While the art sale is on Grady’s original art pieces, we will also be offering his artwork prints on Vintage Local Wood and premium quality T-Shirts.
Over the past few months one could find Grady at day break casually strolling about the downtown block wielding a cup of coffee and legendary tales of his temple home perched on a cliff of a remote tropical island. He only returned to his beloved little beach town to connect with his latest kin, a granddaughter, the first child of his daughter Anna. Grady used to live above the Cayucos Tavern for over 30 years where he acted as resident tenant and painted spiritual visions of future, past, and present. Then, life threw him a curve ball so he swung for the fence and ended up in Puerto Rico!
Although it seems way to short, we’ve been honored to host his Fine Art in our Gallery while he’s been in town. We hope you get a chance to make it to our Gallery to see his eye-popping artwork before Grady takes it with him back to the islands…so come on down this weekend and support one of our favorite Central Coast artists!!
